The Provincial Championship
A gymnast has several competitions during a year, but the most interesting is of course the Provincial Championship. This championship differs from the other because it's the biggest one between the Local Final, the Regional Championship, and the Jeux du Quebec. A gymnast could compete at the Provincial only if she stay on the top3 of her region the hole year. The Provincial is really intersting because there are a lot of cameramans and photographers. We are also more gymnast than the other competitions so we can see new talents.
The Beam.
Between the floor, the vault, the bars and the beam, the last one is for sure my favorite one. When you are on a beam, you can personalize your movements and be different from the others. It is also a big challenge because we always defy the Laws of Gravity and we must stay in balance.
I loved so much being on my beam because it makes me concentrated and in my own world. I could stay on it for a long time and just think about nothing : Just try not to fall.

What I miss most in gymnastic is the daily training and all the competitions I had. The training was really hard, really intensive and I liked to surpass myself by doing incredible things. Now it's impossible for me to go on a beam and try to do my highest jump ever or just go to the bars and try to fly as a bird.
I also miss doing competitions because a championship is, for a gymnast, the result of your training. The atmosphere is so strong and you can see what the other gymnasts are able to do. A competition is constructive and rewarding because you see what you are able to do under pressure and you learn about the other gymnast.
And after a competition, you just want train harder than ever...

A Real Story Love
______________________________
Gymnastics is the most important thing in my life. I used to go to the gym every day, for two to three hours a day, but now I can't do this because I'm so far away from ''Club Nordgym''. I love this sport because the trainning is really intensive. I need to be balances and be gracious while I must to be strong and concentrate, as well. My life is really boring since I can't be on my beam.
I really miss gymnastics .. :(!

Impossible is nothing

A perfect ten: the perfect score, the perfect setting, the perfect presentation...
A perfect routine whitout any deductions...

Before 1976, no gymnast had ever received a perfect score in any Olympic gymnastics competition. Before 1976, perfection was not in this world.
Nadia Commaneci is the first gymnast to score a perfect ten. At the 1976 Olympics games, this gymnast did the best routine ever at the uneven parallel bars. This is the reason why she is my idol. Nadia is the idol of all the gymnast around the world because she scores the impossible.
